Safety House Program

Safety House Program

Dalmain Primary School are always looking to increase Safety Houses in the Kingsley area. Safety Houses considerably reduce dangers faced by children whilst travelling to and from school.

Can you help us by joining the Dalmain Primary School Safety House Program?

Requirements to become a Safety House:

  • Responsible adults who have a genuine concern for the safety of children in our neighbourhood
  • Approved applicants need to be home 80% of the time (or 3 days per week) between the hours of 8-9am and 3-4pm Monday to Friday.  If you are dropping off and picking up your own children from school and then going straight home you are still able to apply to become a Safety House
  • All house occupants aged 10 or over must complete a free Criminal Record Check carried out by the Safety House Association of WA in conjunction with WA Police

If you would like to become a Safety House or would like further information in becoming one, please contact our Safety House Coordinator: Fiona Laden-Wearne.
